TIU’s Annual Convocation Ceremony Opened New Gates For Students
Techno India University, West Bengal, had its annual convocation ceremony at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre. Approximately 3000 students, including 22 PhD holders and more than 60 Gold Medalists, got their doctorate, postgraduate, and undergraduate degrees.
The Convocation Ceremony set new standards for recognizing academic achievement and giving students a chance to engage with and hear from today’s thought leaders in a variety of professions.
The Honorable Former President of India, Shri. Ram Nath Kovind, was the event’s chief guest. He captivated the audience with his Convocation Speech. The program had a fitting sense of discipline and patriotism because the top-ranking Army, Coast Guard, and Air Force officers stationed in Eastern India also graced the event.

A moving and heartfelt part of the Convocation Ceremony honored Mrs. Uma Adhikari, the late Sep Jayanta Adhikari’s wife, who died in the line of duty in 1992. It also highlighted the love, devotion, and sense of sacrifice that a soldier feels toward their motherland. Techno India University underlined its commitment to fostering in its students a strong sense of genuine patriotism and duty towards the Indian nation through this particular felicitation.
Convocation signifies the opening of a door to new chances and challenges rather than the end of one chapter in a student’s life. Techno India University’s strong alumni network has always been one of its key advantages, helping its students succeed in the workplace and seize new opportunities. This network has also contributed to the university’s expansion, widening research focus, and professional pathways for students.
