Yash Dasgupta and Priyanka Sarkar visited the sets of Sohag Chand to promote their movie Toke Chhara Banchbo Na. The hit romantic movie which was released on November 25^th will be aired first time on television on 31st December at 2 pm and 9.30 pm only on Colors Bangla.

The film follows the journey of Arjun and Hiya. Arjun is a son of a reputed businessman. In his childhood, Arjun’s girlfriend moves to a different city along with her family. Arjun’s brother commits suicide for which Arjun holds his father responsible and he moves into depression. Meanwhile, he meets a bubbly girl Hiya and the drama unfolds surrounding them. Yash and Priyanka play the lead in this emotional love story.

The film directed by Sujit Mondal, and edited by Robiranjan Maitra also stars Anindya Chatterjee and Bharat Kaul. The title song sung by Jeet Gannguli is already a hit along with other songs like Dine Dine Tui, and Bhule Jabo Ki Kore.

Everyone in the family is busy preparing for Sohag’s engagement, and then Priyanka and Yash appear out of nowhere in the story. After hearing that they had to travel here due to a car breakdown, the entire family is pleased to see them. They are childhood buddies, just like Sohag and Chand, and they came here to promote their new film Toke Chhara Banchbo Na. Priyanka defends Sohag by claiming that a beautiful mind is more essential than anything else when others comment on her appearance.

The serial Sohag Chand centers on the idea of inner beauty. The protagonist, Sohag, is a kind-hearted, nearly faultless girl who, despite this, is consistently passed over by would-be husbands due to her weight. Sohag and Chand are childhood friends.  Will Chand be able to recognize Sohag’s inner beauty?
