“Tonic’s Music Is Like A Breath Of Fresh Air”- Jeet Gannguli At Music Launch Of Tonic
The much-awaited Bengali film Tonic, directed by Avijit Sen starring Paran Bandyopadhyay, Dev & Shakuntala Barua in the lead, is eyeing for release soon.
The music launch of the film was graced by Dev, music director Jeet Gaanguli and director, Avijit Sen. Nachiketa Chakraborty, Anupam Roy, and Anindya Chattopadhyay performed live on the occasion and sang the songs from Tonic.
The Title track ‘O Tonic’ has been sung and written by Anindya Chatterjee. The song ‘Aaynate’ is written by Prasen and sung by Anupam Roy. Shreya Ghoshal and Nachiketa Chakroborty have each sung a version of the song ‘E Mon Eka’ that has been penned by Srijato.
This is for the first time, Jeet Gannguli has made both Anindya Chatterjee and Anupam Roy, sing for his compositions
The music of Tonic, released by Zee Music, will be available across various major digital platforms.
Tonic also stars Koneenica Banerjee, Tnushree Chakrabortyand Sujan Mukherjee. Sujoy Dutta Roy is the editor, whereas Supriyo Dutta is the DOP and Anindit Roy & Adeep Singh Manki have done the Sound Designing & Mixing.
The costume is designed by Rajarshee. Raja Narayan Deb has composed the background score.
Tonic will be releasing on 24th December 2021 across leading standalone theatres and multiplexes across West Bengal.
