The trailer launch of Klikk’s latest original series Olokkhis in Goa took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film. The backdrop of the event had a beach-type decor coinciding with the feel and flavor of the series.

Titas, Barsha, Hoi, and Ronita are childhood friends. They grew up in the suburbs. These girls have been called Olokkhis since their childhood by everyone. They were notorious and that started from their school life and continued to their college life and beyond. Like the other cine lovers who have loved Dil Chahta Hai, they also planned to go to Goa for Titas’s bachelor party.

When Titas’s marriage is fixed, they finally set out to fulfill their long-cherished dream. After they land in Goa, mishaps start happening. Will they be able to surpass these problems and return back to Kolkata? The dark comedy series Olokkhis in Goa will provide the answer to all these questions.

The story, screenplay, and direction are by Joydip Banerjee.

The director said “I thought about this story five years ago and I have been trying to make this story for the last two years. Whatever hurdles I had to face to make the series, I faced all of them. I have been able to overcome them and finally it is time for the series to release. As a result, I am contented and also quite excited”.

Joydip also added that the girls from middle-class families have a different personality in Kolkata and a different one when they go out of Kolkata. This formed the basis for the story of the series.

Priyanka Bhattacharya, Debraj Bhattacharya, Anuradha Mukherjee, Avery Singha Roy, Priyanka Mondal, Durbar Sharma, Deboprosad Halder, Sudipa Basu, and others are the cast of this original series.

The actresses added that they listened obediently to the director and continued with the shoot of the series.

Anuradha while speaking about her shooting experience said “I had a great time with the other actresses as we all were a bit crazy, including our director. As a result, we had a fun time shooting the series”.

The dialogues are by Soumit Deb.

The music and background music is by Pranjal Das.

The series is produced by Films and Frames.
