The trailer of the upcoming web series ‘Large Peg’, directed by Angsuman Banerji was launched in the presence of the director and cast of the series.

The web series is a psychological thriller.

“It is a mini web-series of three episodes. The episodes are of thirty minutes duration. It is about a psychosexual relationship and a fight between ego and alter-ego” said the director.

Produced by Ocenic Media Solutions, Kalawati Productions, Quantum n Shades, the cast of the series consists of Sayantani Guhathakurta, Anindya Pulak Banerjee, Sritama Dey, Payel Roy, Sara M. Nath, and many others.

Anindya Pulak Banerjee said “The name Large Peg is a metaphor. I play a writer who is a larger-than-life character. He might be a genius or might be a lunatic. The film is a surreal one. Does the writer creates the destiny of the characters or does the character determine their destiny on their own?”

Sayantani Guhathakurta plays the role of the wife of the author. The author due to his work schedule pays less attention to his wife. The actress jokingly mentioned that it was not easy to be a wife of an author.

The story is written by Saikat Ghosh, and Pratyusha Sarkar has written the screenplay for this series. Shameek Kundu is in the charge of music direction, and cinematography is done by Shantanu Banerjee.

The mini web series will be streaming on a national OTT soon.
