The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Jagakhicuri took place in the presence of the director duo Subhanjan Roy and Pradip Singha (David), actor Anindya Pulak and others at Birla Planetarium.

The story revolves around four friends who are in dire financial crisis. In such a condition, they come to know that a cash prize will be given to those individual who can stay at a haunted house for three days. The four friends go to the house and on reaching there they find that there are people already present. What happens next?

Anindya Pulak plays the role of Shokun in the film. “I have played this kind of character very rarely in films. This is not a negative character but a character that the audience will love and enjoy. One may ask the question why I am named Shokun. That may be a pun that the script writer wanted to give in the story” said the actor.

The actor also added that the director have taken many new actors and actresses in the film which is a great thing. Without new talent, an industry cannot move forward and this is a great step indeed.

The cast of the film consist of Biswajit Chakraborty, Debesh Roychowdhury, Pradip Bhattacharya, Debarati Mitra, Amritendu Kar, Saronita Roy and others.

The film is eyeing for release soon.
