The official trailer of the upcoming Bengali film Prapti (Receipt) was unveiled recently.

The film won a Special Jury Award in the Indian Languages’ Films Category at the 27th KIFF.

Shoma and Sunanda, who have been married for almost a year, are the protagonists of the story. Sunanda works for the forest department in the town of ‘Bari,’ in the state of ‘Bihar.’ As a result, Shoma has no choice but to stay in the area. Shoma, on the other hand, appears to be unconcerned about anything in her family. Nothing can make her forget about ‘Bedey da,’ her true love. Shoma keeps writing letters to Bedey da, but no one responds. Bedey da shows up unannounced at Sunanda’s house one day to meet Shoma. Shoma’s mind is filled with an inexplicable joy. “Prapti” is about the moments created that day by these two pure souls.

The director of the film is Anuraag Pati and the story is by Buddhadeb Guha.

The cast of the film includes Samadarshi Dutta, Pratyusha Roslin, Debdut Ghosh, & Ananya Pal Bhattacharya.

The music of the film was composed by Sravan Bhattacharya. The songs have been sung by Rekha Bharadwaj and Amrita Singh. The lyrics have been penned by Ritam Sen.

Presented by Pratyusha Roslin, the production house of the film is Prantika Productions.

The film is releasing on 10^th June.
