The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Balaram Kando was graced by director Saptaswa Basu, Gargi Roychowdhury, Rajatava Dutta, Aishwarya Sen, Arya Dasgupta, and others.

Balaram Kando centers on Kishore Sanyal and Tarangini Mukherjee, a divorced couple. Tara, who works as a marriage counselor, is a sharp, self-reliant, and straightforward person who, ironically, falls in love with Kishore, a math teacher, who is utterly different from her. They separated as a result of their impetuous relationship and marriage decision.

In this tale, a father and mother who haven’t spoken to each other for twelve years attempt to get back together on a single mission to prevent their daughter from making a grave error.

Gargi Roychowdhury plays the role of Tarangini in the film. She said “This is one role that I have played where the director and producer did not allow me to put much makeup on. They wanted me in a de-glam look and that happened in the film. It was a fun shooting experience. And working with Rajatava Dutta is a great pleasure”.

The actress also added that she had not shot in Nainital for any of her films. She also has doubts whether any Bengali film has been shot there.

Rajatava Dutta said that the film is a complete entertainment package of two hours. “Balaram Kando is a fun film. It will make you laugh organically. It is also an emotional story and is perfect to watch with both friends and family” said the actor.

The film will be released on Holi.
