The unveiling of the trailer of the new comedy film, Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo, took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.

Come and immerse yourself in the world of Dhrubo Banerjee’s next family comedy, which is sure to make audiences of all ages laugh heartily. Under the creative direction of Dhrubo Banerjee, this cinematic production, which was initially envisioned by acclaimed author Rajkumar Moitra, captures the spirit of the era and brings it back to life on the big screen. 

Riddhi Sen, Ujan Chatterjee, Ditipriya Roy, Sudip Dhara, Jeet Sundor, and Mithun Gupta delivered a captivating skit with Bogla Mama aka Kharaj Mukherjee before the trailer was launched.

“Bogla Mama Jug Jug Jiyo” promises a dramatic and humorous rollercoaster. This isn’t your average comedy—it’s a hilarious blend of humor and storytelling that will keep you laughing out loud. Powerhouses Jio Studios and SVF Entertainment worked together to produce the movie, guaranteeing exceptional quality and a memorable cinematic experience.

The music has been composed by Indraadip Das Gupta.

The cast of the film consists of Rajatava Dutta, Aparajita Adhya, Kaushik Sen, Bishwanath Basu, Ditipriya Roy, Ujan Chatterjee, Riddhi Sen, and others.

“I am glad that I could do comedy in the film. The best thing about doing a comedy film is that the set has the same comedy vibe. Another great thing about the film was I got to play a role that was my age and work alongside people who are also of my age” said Riddhi Sen.

This is also the first film in which Kaushik Sen, Reshmi Sen, and Riddhi Sen have worked together. Reshmi Sen also plays Riddhi’s reel life mother in the film.

Kharaj Mukherjee said “Dhrubo ensured that we were never short of energy while on the sets. Whenever he felt that we were falling short, he used to motivate us. The other technicians on the set had also fun. When we used to shoot, they laughed out loud. Hence we are quite sure that the audience will like the film”.

Indraadip Dasgupta said that this film will bring back the lost Bangaliana. It will also remind one of the lost era of a closely-knit neighborhood. “I had a good time while composing the background music. I composed music after many years for a film where the songs are needed to carry forward the storyline” said the music composer.

Ditipriya said that she made new friends on the set of this Bengali film. She was also glad to work together actors who were her age.

The film is set to release on 24th November.
