The trailer launch of Kurban took place recently in the presence of director Saibal Mukherjee, Ankush, Priyanka Sarkar, and others.

The story of Kurban revolves around a Muslim family in rural Bengal. Hasan loves his family very much. He is a sensitive individual who views life differently than the other individuals. A storm approaches his family and all his life values are been questioned. What will happen next?

Ankush said “When the director approached me for the character of Hasan, I was surprised. I asked him why did he consider me for this role. Has he watched my earlier films and found me promising as an actor who can portray such a role? He said that he had seen my earlier works, both good and bad. He was convinced that I could do justice to this role. I must thank him for considering me for this role. This is a challenging role and one that I have not done before. Every actor wants to do a challenging and different role. This makes him versatile”.

Priyanka Sarkar also thanked the director for casting her in such a film with such an amazing storyline and characters. She plays the role of a Muslim girl Hizal. Hizal is a Muslim bride who speaks up for herself and has dreams to fulfill.

Shantilal Mukherjee, Kanchan Mallick, Buddhadev Bhattacharya, and others are part of the cast of this film.

The film is eyeing for release on 24^th of November.
