The trailer for the eagerly anticipated Rani Mukerji movie Mardaani 3, the most recent entry in this successful Indian female-led franchise, has been released by Yash Raj Films. Mardaani, which has received a great deal of love and critical praise for more than ten years, is the largest single female-led franchise in Hindi film. The Mardaani franchise has become a cult favorite among moviegoers and continues to be the only successful female cop-led film universe in India.

In the third installment of Mardaani, Rani Mukerji returns to her legendary role as the tough and unyielding police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy, who is racing against time to save numerous Indian ladies who have gone missing. This time, in a bloody struggle for justice for innocent lives, Shivani will face up against a ruthless, evil, strong woman. Mallika Prasad, a very known actress, is playing the part. Renowned Shaitaan star Janaki Bodiwala also joins the Mardaani franchise to play a crucial part. Famed for The Railway Men, Aayush Gupta is the writer of Mardaani 3.

The trailer is expected to heighten the anticipation for this must-see thriller after the unanimously adored poster reveal, which generated an enormous response for this incredibly popular Rani Mukerji series.

Mardaani 3, which is produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Abhiraj Minawala, carries on the franchise’s legacy of socially conscious filmmaking.
