The trailer of the upcoming Bengali film Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan took place in the presence of director Sayantan Ghosal, music composer Bickram Ghosh, Parambrata Chatterjee, Koel Mallick, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Shantilal Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta and Adolina Chakraborty.

The story of the film revolves around the quest for a rare chemical known as Red Mercury. This can be a great alternative to the exhausting fuel resources of Earth and also has the great power to cure a child suffering from a rare disease.

The film is the second instalment of the adventure treasure hunt franchise. This started with Jawker Dhan in 2017 which is based on Late Shri Hemendra Kumar Roy’s stories by the same name.

Parambrata Chatterjee plays the role of Bimal, Gaurav plays Kumar while Koel will be seen playing the role of Dr Rubi Chatterjee in the film.

The film has been shot in Phi Phi Islands, Krabi and virgin islands near Maya Bay, Trang Cave, Ao Nang and Poda Island.

Ramyadip Saha is the DOP while Sayantan Ghosal has edited the film. SVFX Studios has done the visual effects of the film.

The film is eyeing for release on 6^th December.
