Trailer Of Srijit Mukherji’s Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga Released
“Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga was a dream project of mine. I read about the real-life incidents in 2017. After reading it, I immediately wrote the story and got it registered. I have been trying to make this film for the longest time. After five years, this dream finally is fulfilled and we bring to the audiences the story of Gangaram” said five times National-award-winning director Srijit Mukherji.
The trailer of the film was recently released.
The film is a dark humor-infused satire.
Srijit Mukherji has created an insightful story about the negative effects of urbanization, man-animal conflict, and poverty, which leads to a strange practice in a village on the outskirts of a forest.

Gangaram adopts the infamous tiger practice and is willing to give his life so that the families of his village can benefit from the government scheme money promised to any tiger attack victim’s family. He enters the forest one fine day and waits for his death. There, he meets Jim, a poacher played by Neeraj Kabi, and what follows is a series of unprecedented and fascinating events.
