Travel Now, Post Later- New Global Initiative Of Kerala Tourism

Kerala Tourism is launching a global initiative called Travel Now, Post Later, which encourages travelers worldwide to travel mindfully and to live in the present moment before posting it online.
Experience first, share afterward is the straightforward and universal basic tenet.
It reminds us that presence must come before performance and that the most profound travel stories are felt before they are spoken.
Kerala Tourism establishes itself as a thought leader by starting a broader discussion about how people visit the world with its Travel Now, Post Later campaign. The movement reframes travel as an act of presence rather than performance, encouraging awareness, reflection, and genuine connection.

One of India’s most captivating cultural landmarks, the Kochi–Muziris Biennale has made Kochi a thriving international destination for art-driven travel. The Biennale offers tourists an immersive tourism experience by skillfully fusing modern art with living history within the historic neighborhoods of Fort Kochi and its heritage precincts.
The largest contemporary art event in South Asia, which runs till March 31, brings together artists and tourists from all over the world, bringing life to historic locations across the city. The Biennale is a potent illustration of culture-driven tourism, revitalizing ancient sites, boosting regional economies, and establishing Kochi as a destination where art serves as a means of exploration. Kerala encourages visitors to venture outside of their comfort zone and experience the place via the transformational power of art and culture through the Biennale.

Kerala Tourism will launch an all-India campaign, host a series of roadshows in major cities throughout the nation, and take part in major trade events from January to March in an effort to generate new interest among travelers for the rapidly coming summer vacation season.
To expose its new products and experiential travel to a larger audience and boost domestic tourist foot traffic, Kerala Tourism will host B2B meetings in Kolkata, Lucknow, and Indore throughout February. The company began with a Partnership Meet in Chennai, followed by Bengaluru in January and Hyderabad earlier this week.

The Nishagandhi Dance Festival, which will take place in February in the capital city and feature classical dances like Odissi, Kathakali, and Bharatnatyam, is another yearly Keralan cultural event that draws tourists during the season.
With a focus on adventure (surfing, cycling, paragliding, mountain biking), wellness (Ayurveda), luxury, and culture (destination weddings, MICE), Kerala will promote new destinations, particularly those in North Kerala like Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Bekal, as well as enhanced infrastructure for lesser-known locations and activities outside of the usual backwaters and beaches.
As part of its Muziris Heritage Project, the state launched 33 heritage trails earlier this month that span the entire state from Kasaragod in the north to Kollam in the south, therefore increasing legacy tourism.
Kerala would be shown as a secure travel destination in addition to highlighting better amenities in developing regions.
The forthcoming holiday season is also anticipated to see an increase in foreign reservations.
Kerala’s inclusion on Rough Guides’ list of the 26 globe travel hotspots for 2026 has significantly enhanced the state’s standing as a popular tourism destination.
In keeping with its reputation for Ayurvedic practices and holistic health, the state also took home the Travel + Leisure India’s Best Wellness Destination Award for 2025, solidifying its standing as one of the world’s top destinations for wellness travel.

Future roadshows are also to take place at the same time as Kerala Tourism’s all-India Lenscape Kerala photo exhibition, which opens in New Delhi on January 20. The exhibition, which features 100 carefully chosen images by ten top Indian travel photographers, is envisioned as a traveling visual narrative of Kerala. The show will go to Vadodara (January 27–29), Ahmedabad (February 3–5), Mumbai (February 12–14), Pune (February 18–20), Bengaluru (February 27–March 1), Chennai (March 4–7), Hyderabad (March 12–14), Kolkata (March 22–24), and finally Surat (March 29–31) after its launch.
Kerala is well known throughout the world for offering a wide range of experiences to tourists, including houseboats, caravan stays, plantation visits, jungle resorts, homestays, wellness treatments based on Ayurveda, adventure sports, and walks in the countryside, including trekking to lush hills.
In addition to the new developments, the state’s main attractions—beaches, hill stations, houseboats, and the backwater segment—will enhance the overall experience of tourists.

In short, Kerala has something for everyone.
