Durgeshgorer Guptodhon which released recently is the second film of the Bengali treasure hunt franchise directed by Dhrubo Banerjee and starring Abir Chatterjee.

The film released across theatres nationwide in Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Gurgaon Noida, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Agartala and Jamshedpur.

Last year (2018) the first part of the franchise, Guptodhoner Sondhane was a huge success. Sona Da aka, Professor of history Subarna Sen, along with Abir (Arjun Chakraborty) and Jhinuk ( Ishaa Saha) decide to visit one of Sona da’s student’s ancestral mansion at Durgeshgor. There is a myth that runs in the family that they had once received a massive treasure, but all traces and trails of it had been lost. Can Sona da find it?

The film also stars Anindya Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, June Maliah, Kharaj Mukherjee, Arindam Sil, Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Lily Chakraborty, Aryann Bhowmick, Debjani Chatterjee, Lama, Joydip Kundu in pivotal roles. The music has been composed by Bickram Ghosh.
