The first glimpse of Hoichoi’s upcoming original series, Karma Korma, which is written and directed by Pratim D. Gupta and stars Sohini Sarkar and Ritabhari Chakraborty, is out now.

The show is about two women, one kitchen, and a recipe that starts with friendship, where every emotion is an ingredient and every secret has a unique flavor.

With Hoichoi, Pratim’s first-ever Bengali web series, he crafts a slow-burning mystery that skillfully combines emotion, treachery, and desire. Ritwick Chakraborty enters this multi-layered story of love, betrayal, and cold-blooded retribution just as the temperature is rising.

Karma Korma, which takes place in Kolkata, is a suspenseful story about two ladies from different backgrounds who meet at a cooking class. What begins as a reassuring relationship quickly turns into a sinister concoction of deceit and retaliation. The powerful picture establishes the mood as two women stand near each other under a single umbrella on a rainy night in Kolkata, their silence full of secrets. The frame, which is drenched in crimson, alludes to a tale in which trust has a price.

Karma Korma stands out as a daring new flavor where trust burns, emotions boil, and karma is eventually cooked to perfection, while hoichoi continues to set the standard for Bengali thrillers.

It will start streaming exclusively on Hoichoi on December 5.
