Two Day Conference Aahvaan- A Call to Serve Announced
Aahvaan- A Call to Serve is the Rotary District Conference 2020 which will be held at ITC Royal Bengal Kolkata on 11th and 12th January.
A press meet was organized to announce this conference.
The conference will enable club members so that they can learn about what is happening in Rotary and their district and meet other Rotarians in the area. The conference has special meaning as District 3291 and Rotary in India commemorates its Centenary year.
The two-day conference will include a visit from a Rotary International President’s representative, who gives an update on Rotary International and inspires and motivates participant Rotarians. A report will be showcased including the successes and challenges. An official meeting will be held and important district matters will be voted upon. Local and international speakers will give information on topics relevant to district members. It will also enable one to network and reconnect with friends and find inspiration for community leadership.
Some of the eminent speakers include Gaur Gopal Das, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay Jha and Dr Ganesh Natarajan.
The esteemed guests include Shekhar Mehta, RIPN, Priyesh Bhandari, RIPR and A S Venkatesh, RIDN.
