Ekkannoborti in association with Gariahat Hindusthan Club organized a two day-long food fiesta and a cultural evening titled Bhoj Baji.

The two day-long food festival was inaugurated in the august presence of Chandrima Bhattacharjee, Honourable Minister, Government of West Bengal, Agnimitra Paul and Alokananda Roy.

Speaking at the event, Alokananda Roy said “I am glad I have been called at the inauguration of this food fiesta. Food and Bengalis are synonymous. The love for food that the Bengalis have is unlike any other community in any part of the country. And with such a great food festival, the Bengalis will have a chance to gorge on delicious food items”.

Agnimitra Paul applauded the fact that many women have participated in the festival to showcase their work.

Santa’s Fantasea, Oudh 1590, Chowman, The French Loaf, Wow Momo, Mom’s Magic and many other vegetarian and non-vegetarian food joints participated in the festival.
