Udok Performing Arts To Perform In Australia For The 1st Time With Margam
The Kolkata-based dance troupe “Udok Performing Arts” will perform its “Margam” dance production in four Australian cities for the first time.
Debasish Kumar, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA, Alokananda Roy and others graced the press conference of this event.
Speaking at the event, Alokananda Roy said “I am greatly touched by the efforts of the dance group. It is not easy to take a group of dancers and go abroad and perform. The event is a testimony to the years of hard work of the dance group. These artists will be showcasing Indian art and culture to foreigners. They are the cultural ambassadors for our country”.
Debasish Kumar, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA, said “The dance group will be performing for the first time in Australia and this gives me immense pride as an Indian. Classical songs and dances are part of Indian culture. And the dance group Udok Performing Arts has been doing their bit for promoting the cultural heritage of India”.
The dance performance will take place from 25th April to 20th May in four cities in Australia, including Sydney, Canberra, and Brisbane.
