Nawab of Bengal Siraj ud-Daulah has been an interesting character in the history of India for many reasons. Now Star Jalsha has come up with a period piece on the Nawab of Bengal titled Ami Siraj er Begum. However the story will be narrated from the perspective of Siraj’s wife Lutfunnisa Begum.

In the serial, the reign of the Nawab will be shown. Siraj is a character around whom many myths prevail in history and also in the society. The script and screenplay of the upcoming serial has been made by adhering to historical facts.

To showcase the time in the most authentic way possible, the set, costume, jewelry all have been made accordingly. A part of the show will be shot at a studio in Mumbai.

Sean is a well known model and is also the grandson of late actress Supriya Devi will be seen as Siraj in this serial!! Pallabi Dey will be seen in the role of Siraj’s Begum.

The title track’s music has been composed by Indraadip Dasgupta.

According to the channel authorities, the new serial will throw light on many unknown facets in the life of the Nawab and they hope that the audience will enjoy watching this new serial.
