An authentic American bar and grill restaurant was inaugurated at Swabhumi titled Uno Chicago Bar & Grill. The inauguration took place in the presence of Parthiv Neotia, Whole Time Director, Uno India and Asish Chanana, CEO, Uno India.

The newly opened food joint has 250 seats and spread over an area of three floors. The main aim is to provide a smart dining experience for the entire family.

The food joint consists of a bar, live music set up and entertainment.

The Uno story began in 1943. Ike Sewell developed deep dish pizza and opened a new restaurant at the corner of Ohio & Wabash. The pizza served there was not found anywhere else.

With the launch of this brand in India, the mission is to recreate a restaurant experience which is fun, relaxed and casual for the entire family. The decor of the restaurant is also very eye-catching. From the outside, it has the look of a Zamindar household with big balcony, heavy chandeliers and small tables with big chairs.

When you enter the restaurant, you are suddenly transported to a western world. Great posters on the wall, a plane on the ceiling, great lighting- all this make the restaurant a great blend of the East and the West.

Some of the food that one must try at this food joint include Uno Power Salad, Crispy Honey Chicken, Spicy Calamari, Grilled Lemon Basil Salmon, Spinach Cottage Cheese Steak, Prawn Scampi Pasta, Rattlesnake Fettuccine Pasta, Wild Wild West Burger, Whisky Chicken Melt Burger, Aged Cheddar Mushroom & Chicken Burger and so on.

Desserts at the food joint include Tiramisu, Chocolate Brownies and the very popular Awesome Insanely Large Chocolate Cake.

Uno had opened a restaurant in Delhi before it opened this one in Kolkata. A restaurant in Bengaluru is next in line for the brand.
