The press conference of the upcoming Bollywood film Dukaan took place in the presence of debutant director duo Siddharth Singh-Garima Wahal, actor Soham Majumdar, and others.

Dukaan revolves around a girl who takes on the role of a surrogate mother and helps troubled couples.

While the rules restrict a woman’s fundamental right to make her own decisions, the movie poses a very straightforward but nuanced query. Can one name the surrogate they select?

Through the main character, the movie poses some important questions regarding the subject as the government chooses to forego state reforms and surrogate rights in favor of a general ban.

Monika Panwar, Sikander Kher, Soham Majumdar, and others will be seen in pivotal roles in this film.

Dukaan is slated for release on the 5^th of April.
