Prof. Subodh Sarkar, Pandit Debojyoti Bose, Ahmed Hassan Imran, Mrs. Nuzhat Zainab, Prof. Zarina Zarreen, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, Sayed Hasmat Jalal, and Mrs. Mallika Ghosh graced the launch of the Urdu Ghazal recital album Saaz-E-Ghazal.

Group performances by Kabya Sangeet Academy and Shrutibitan marked the beginning of this album launch ceremony.

The album consists of Urdu Ghazal with a mix of Hindustani Classical Music. Tunes and raags composed by Kazi Nazrul Islam were used in this album.

The Urdu Ghazals have been written and recited by Shushant Chattopadhyaya “Safeer”.

The concept and music arrangement are by Somerita Mallik.

The Sarangi has been played by Ustad Roshan Ali Khan and the Sarod has been played by Monit Paul.

Shushant Chattopadhyaya recited some of his Ghazals and the poem Nazrul at this music launch event.

The album release program was designed by Somerita Mallik, the President of Chhayanat (Kolkata).

The audio album was released by Bihaan Music.
