SVF and Nideas Productions are excited to announce that Vijaynagar’er Hirey, the next epic chapter in the renowned Kakababu franchise, will be released in theaters on January 23, 2026.

 Indraadip Dasgupta composed the soundtrack, and Chandrasish Ray directed this upcoming Bengali film.

This chapter, which is based on the popular story of Sunil Gangopadhyay, sends the three of them on a perilous search for a fabled diamond that is supposed to surpass the Kohinoor.

Vijaynagar’er Hirey, which is directed by Chandrasish Ray, combines a lively, contemporary cinematic style with its traditional literary roots.

The poster sets the tone for a massive adventure. Kakababu (played by Prosenjit Chatterjee) surges through the beautiful remains of Hampi, with Santu (Aryann Bhowmik) and Jojo (Pushan Dasgupta) by his side.
