The art exhibition ‘Diwali-the festival of lights’ was inaugurated at Srishtii Art Gallery in the esteemed presence of famous filmmaker Narayan Roy, Speed painter Rabin Bar, Rajendra Nahata-Art Collector, Imran Zaki-Hony. Secretary, St. Stephen’s School, gallery owner Madhu Agrawal, and others.

The exhibition will showcase eminent artist like Sadhan Sengupta- (Nature and Beauty), Artist Saikat Patra( Sindoor Khela and Durga ji), Artist and ACP Basudeb Bhattacharya (Nature), Artist and gallery owner Madhu Agarwal (Madhulika)-Tanjore Art, Artist Kaushik Ghosh (Old Kolkata), Artist Vidya Mall (Pen Doodling), Artist MC Ashok Harlalka (Wildlife), Artist age 14 years Antareep Sinha (Buddha and Nature), Artist and homemaker Sunaina Kasera (Old Man in Waiting), Artist from Shantiniketan Arabinda Pal (Pottery), Artist from Shantiniketan Debabrata Ruidas (Sculptures from iron and electrical waste), and Radhika De.

According to Madhu Agarwal, Owner, Srishtii Art Gallery, this special place was created for artists. Artists often do not find a place to display their artworks. The USP of this gallery is that the gallery will cover the costs of the exhibition. She highlighted that 70 paintings were on display at the gallery.

Books by artists Sadhan Sengupta and Saikat Patra were inaugurated at the event.

The exhibition will continue till 6th November, from 1 pm to 6 pm including Sunday.
