A tyro is a beginner or a newcomer, and so is Raunak Nath who stepped into the world of hospitality with his first venture of Club Urban Tyro. Raunak was a foodie at heart and after graduating from United States as a civil engineer, he came back to Kolkata to pursue his dream of becoming a restaurant owner in Kolkata.

Club Urban Tyro serves the most authentic Oriental and Chinese food, for which Raunak draws inspiration from the city’s very own, Chinatown and the much celebrated Chinese food from Tangra.

Some of the food items on offer include Truffle Cream Cheese Dumplings, the Chicken Black Pepper Dumplings, theThai Corn Fritters, Dynamite Prawns, Chilli Chicken Bao, Chongqing Chicken Clay pot paired with Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Jafrani Kofte Butter Naan and others.

Club Urban Tyro also has a range of mocktails and shakes to go with the meal, including KitKat Shake, Peanut Butter and Nutella Shake, Bloody Tyro or the Luscious Litchi.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and the food joint has come up with a Valentine’s Menu. Some of the special offerings include that the Club the Thai Chicken Rose Dumplings, the Truffle Mushroom Dumplings and beverages like the Red Kiss, Sweetheart and many more.

Urban Tyro also extends its food menu to a Tandoori and Indian section. Some of the dishes on offer include prawn dumplings, kebabs and tikkas and others.

Club Urban Tyro can accommodate sixty people into the space, apart from which the club also has two private dining areas or rooms that can serve around ten to twelve people each.
