The recently ended Health Conclave & Excellence Awards included a thought-provoking plenary session at Swabhumi, Kolkata, with medical specialists from famous hospitals and clinics. The third Health Conclave edition highlighted many areas of general health that lifestyle changes in the post-endemic age have impacted. The conclave’s opening session featured a debate on the signs, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of fatty liver disease and bone illnesses brought on by the contemporary way of life.

The second session covered cancer symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, lowering heart attack risk due to the growing number of young people, particularly as a post-pandemic symptom, and innovative approaches in prostate disorders that affect men’s health. The third session covered the distinction between emergency and critical care, the requirement for a ventilator, and the development of MRI and CT, which was helpful to the professionals. Additionally, facts on dengue management were shared.

The fourth session focused on the availability of treatment for physically challenged children, such as those who are deaf and dumb from birth, the signs of dengue in kids that require immediate medical attention, and when to admit them to the hospital after a diagnosis, eye care, and its treatment, and the key business strategies of the industry for medically assisted travel. The fifth panel discussed ways to prevent diabetes and how to treat it, whether homeopathy offers an alternative to allopathic therapy, and how Ayurveda can help treat various illnesses.
