Pure talent shines through every situation. Phoring, a young and underprivileged girl despite being born in hardships is extremely talented in gymnastics. Star Jalsha’s new serial Alta Phoring, tells the story of this undaunted girl Phoring.

Phoring is the daughter of a daily labor Radharani. They work in a brick factory. Phoring shows extraordinary gymnastic skills even during her daily mundane tasks. Her daily struggle for livelihood doesn’t allow her to dream. Her whole world revolves around her mother and the two find solace in each other amidst their daily struggles.

Her fate doles out devastating challenges as she gets separated from her mother in a natural calamity. But she does not give up. Abhra, a middle-class banker saves Phoring and helps her in her search for her mother.

The role of Phoring will be played by actress Kheyali Mondal, Abhradeep Chatterjee will be played by Arnab Banerjee and Radharani will be played by Saoli Chattopadhyay.

Speaking about her character, Kheyali said “This is a great character that I have been selected for. I am looking forward to seeing how the audience reacts to our hard work when the serial starts airing”.

Susanta Das praised Saoli and Kheyali for their hard work during the shoot of the serial. “Saoli and Kheyali have to stay in the water from morning till 10 pm at night for shooting the natural calamity scenes. Even Arnab had to go in the water in some of the scenes. I was worried that if they got sick, how will the other shoot be completed? Luckily they were all right. They did not show any trace of tiredness during the shoot”.

Arnab who had been part of many popular television serials will be seen in the role of Abhradeep. Speaking about his character, he said “Abhradeep is different from the other boys of his age. That is why many feels think he is a bit weird. He is a responsible lad”.

The show is being produced by Tent Cinema productions led by Susanta Das.
