In the recently finished flagship award program, Bijaya Sammelani, which took place in a city’s history hotel, TV9 Bangla embarked on a cultural extravaganza. The main attraction of TV9 Bangla Bijaya Sammelani is an intriguing gathering on an award show named “Sera Naye,” which is held under several categories –
Sera Barowari (Best Durga puja of puja associations), Sera Pratima (Best Idol), Sera Alankar(Best Ornaments), Sera Theme(Best Theme), Sera Paribesh (Best Ambiance), Sera Suraksha(Excellence in Safety), Mayer Puja Meyer Hatey (Worshipped by Daughter to Maa Durga goddess), Manusher Pashe (By the people), Sera Abason (Best Apartment Pujas), Sera Samagam (Best Gathering), Sera Srijan (Best Creativity) and Jelar Sera Puja (Best pujas across the Bengal Districts).

The lively, folkloric, and semi-classical Chhau dance, which originated in Purulia, a Bengali district rich in culture, was scheduled to be performed during this program. Additionally, the playing of the khol, a terracotta two-sided drum used in northern and eastern India to accompany devotional or bhakti music, was included.
The show will be aired on 12th November.
