The unique program of TV9 Bangla named ‘Praner Alo’ simply signifies the light of life above the gloom. For every darkness, there is a light of knowledge and hope and that’s how ‘Praner Alo’ allures viewers to drive knowledge from its myriads of gifts.
“Goodness triumphs over evil, and the time has come to avoid darkness, and this Deepawali is set to bring a new light of hope,” said Amritanshu Bhattacharya, Managing Editor & Business Head of TV9 Bangla.
The news series “Pannalal” and two more programs, “Banglar Shatipeeth” are housed within the knowledge-driven program Praner Alo. The story of Shaktipeethas, or sacred shrines, and how they developed into popular destinations for pilgrims is embodied by Banglar Shatipeeth. 18 of the approximately 51 Shaktipeethas in India are Maha (great) Shaktipeethas. Through Banglar Shatipeeth, several legends explaining its existence and the unique significance of the sacred sites will be broadcast. These temples are thought to be the oldest in Hinduism and are thought to be the celestial homes of Lord Shiva’s first wife, the Goddess Sati. Seven of these episodes will explain the significance of the sacred shrines. This program will air starting at 5:30 p.m. on October 25 and run through October 30.
Pandals and temples in Bengal play Shyama Sangeet during Kali puja. The young singer Pannalal Bhattacharya, who established this well-known musical style, dedicated his life to the goddess Kali and passed away at the young age of 36. His unmatched musical style is said to have been brimming with devotion to the goddess Kali. The iconic vocalist whose song has been a staple of Kali puja is honored by TV9 Bangla. This news documentary will air on television on October 27 at 10 p.m., with a repeat broadcast on October 31 at the same time.
Great programs indeed on Diwali and Kali Puja.
