Mahalaya marks the welcoming of the Mother Goddess on Earth. Television channels have always prepared different programs to celebrate this special day.

Zee Bangla has been preparing mesmerizing Mahalaya special programs over the past many years.

This year, the channel has come up with Nobopotrikai Debiboron.

The use of nine specific plants is needed for the worship of Debi Durga in her Mahishashur Mardini form. Nabopotrika or Shashyabodhu is the collective name for these nine plants. These plants are all linked to the Mother Goddess in some way. We shall look into how each shape was created, and examine its illustrious eminence and its connection to the appropriate nabopotrika, tying it to Mahishashur Mardini. Mahadev and Debi Parbati will narrate the entire story.
