After a successful run with its own original content, Watcho is expanding its selection by offering packaged packages of the most well-liked OTT platforms, giving its customers access to a vast array of new digital material while maintaining the ease of a single subscription.

Through a single login and subscription mechanism, WATCHO will provide OTT content from Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, Sony LIV, Lionsgate Play, Hungama Play, HoiChoi, Klikk, EpicOn, Chaupal, and Oho Gujarati. The enormous collection of original content, which includes 35+ captivating web series, Swag (UGC content), snackable shows, and live TV from WATCHO exclusives, will also be available to members. DishTV will continue to improve its plans as more OTT services are expected to join Watcho to create a whole entertainment package.

By juggling several platforms, Indian OTT consumers struggle to stay up to date with the latest content. The newest OTT aggregation service from Watcho delivers on its slogan, “One Hai Toh Done Hai,” which aims to provide the convenience of a single plan and payment option to make it easier to access the most material in one location while enhancing the viewing experience. DishTV, D2H, and Siti Cable members can also take advantage of and enjoy the new service for a month without paying any additional fees as part of an introductory offer (available for a short time). Once subscribed, consumers will have the option of using the app or website to view the OTT content on their mobile devices, tablets, laptops, and TVs.

“WATCHO – Our home-grown OTT platform has been progressively expanding its reach and crossed the 60 million plus downloads mark at the end of the FY Q1 2022,” said Mr. Sugato Banerji, Corporate Head – Marketing, D2H, Dish TV India Ltd. “The platform has been trying to make a name for itself in the vibrant and fiercely competitive streaming video services market. The abundance of OTT apps in the market makes it difficult for users to choose their favorite content. We are launching the WATCHO OTT aggregation service, which will improve total digital content consumption at a reasonable price point, to address these consumer challenges. We hope to do this by democratizing access to diverse OTT services from a single platform” added Mr. Banerji.

The four subscription packs have been designed to cater to the needs of different customers. While anyone can subscribe to these packs, the fully loaded “Watcho Max” will be exclusively available to DishTV, D2H, and Siti Cable subscribers.
