Zee Bangla pioneered the concept of Dance Bangla Dance, which was then used in Hindi and other regional language forms. The audience will experience surprises this season while also watching an exciting competition intermingled with anecdotes, advice from the judges, and performances from the competitors.

The press conference for the twelfth season of Dance Bangla Dance- Nachbe Gota Bangla was graced by Mahaguru, Superstar Mithun Chakraborty, Mouni Roy, Shrabanti Chatterjee, Subhashree Ganguly, Ankush Hazra, director Avijit Sen and others.

Mithun Chakraborty will make a comeback to this show after a hiatus of 10 years. Joining him as a Judge for the first time on a Bengali Reality Show will be Bollywood actress Mouni Roy. Actresses Shrabanti Chatterjee and Subhashree Ganguly will be seen judging a dance show together for the first time.

Ankush Hazra will be the host of this season of Dance Bangla Dance.

This year, contestants were chosen through auditions held in all of Bengal’s major districts. These 24 participants were selected from a pool of over 20,000 applicants. These contestants will receive the necessary grooming and exercise.

24 candidates will compete in this season’s Dance Bangla Dance – Nachbe Gota Bangla. There will be 12 adult candidates and 12 kids. All dance genres—from Bollywood to hip-hop to Indian classical—will be presented in a novel way. Each performance will receive a score of from the judges 10. Each of the Junior and Senior divisions will have a winner, and a competition will decide the Champion of Champions between the winners of both categories. The ongoing conflict between Mahaguru and “Bhoot,” a.k.a. Khatiya Kumar, will occur this season.

Mouni Roy said “I was initially thinking whether I will be able to do this. This is my first time as a judge on a Bengali reality show. However, I felt very welcomed when I reached the sets. Shrabanti and Shubhasree were very welcoming on the sets”.

Throughout the season, Ankush, the anchor, will be seen striking a balance between the two parties and his vote will be seen as the most crucial one. The subsequent friendly banter between Mahaguru, Anchor, and Bhoot will include judges as well. Three children and three adults will perform in every episode.

Speaking at the press conference, Mithun said “This season we have taken up the onus of making dancing superstars and not dancing stars. Audiences will be able to see amazing dancing talents in this edition of the show. We have fantastic choreographers on the show”.

Dance Bangla Dance–Nachbe Gota Bangla will go on air from 11^th February 2023, every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30 pm.
