The Biswa Bangla Milan Mela Complex in Kolkata will host the 21st International Foodtech Kolkata 2024, Eastern India’s premier business-to-business (B2B) exhibition for the food processing, bakery, mithai & namkeen, dairy, ice-cream, and hospitality industries, from November 29 to December 1, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The three-day mega-exhibition, which is sponsored by the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Eastern India, the West Bengal Bakery Association, the All India Food Processors Association, the West Bengal Bakers Coordination Committee, Paschimbanga Misti Udyog, the Fragrances & Flavours Association of India, the National Restaurant Association of India, the Eastern India Culinary Association, and others, will feature more than 200 prominent Indian and international businesses and leading brands from the food and hospitality industry.

A press conference was organized to announce this amazing event. Mr. Zakir Hossain, Chief Convener, Kolkata Foodtech, Mr. Dhiman Das, President, Misthi Udyog, Mr. Atikram Gupta, Secretary General, Hotel & Restaurant Association of Eastern India & Ms. Punam Thakkar, Executive Secretary, National Restaurant Association graced the press conference.

In order to address food and nutritional security in India, a robust food processing industry is essential. Among the many advantages of processed foods are their increased accessibility, longer shelf life, ease of transportation to far-flung areas, and convenience.

Food and beverages, food processing machinery and equipment, food packaging, cold storage systems, waste management systems, bakery, and confectionery equipment, ice cream-making machines and plants, edible oils, spices, essences, coloring additives, industrial refrigeration, industrial kitchen equipment, glass and glassware, tableware, convenience banks and financial institutions, pollution control, and more would all be covered at the International Foodtech Kolkata 2024.
