When & Where To Watch Suswasthya Health Awards & Conclave?

TV9 Bangla hosts the Suswasthya-Health Awards & Conclave on the eve of Doctor’s Day.
This is the fifth year of TV9 Bangla’s yearly health program, the Suswasthya Health Awards & Conclave. Awards were given to those who save lives and honor the highest quality of services they have provided and continue to provide. In addition to the physicians who were chosen for this year’s honors, those who have distinguished themselves in the fields of innovation and research were also honored. Prominent physicians and researchers from the medical community attended this ceremony.
The event was inaugurated by Amritanshu Bhattacharya, Managing Editor & Business Head, TV9 Bangla, Anirban Choudhury, Consulting Editor, TV9 Bangla, and Dr. (Prof). Sukumar Mukherjee, an eminent medical expert.
Two prominent members of the medical community, Dr. Subrata Malakar, a pioneer in dermatology, and Dr. Indra Sekhar Roy, also known as Dr. I.S. Roy, a legend in ophthalmology, were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Prof. Suman Chakraborty, Director, IIT Kharagpur, received recognition for his noteworthy contribution to medical and healthcare research. In honor of Dr. Kadambini Ganguly, the nation’s first female physician, and Dr. Subhas Mukhopadhyay, the inventor of the first test-tube baby, TV9 Bangla has established two noteworthy award categories. For their outstanding contributions to the medical and healthcare fields, Dr. Subhankar Chowdhury and Dr. Geeta Ganguly Mukherjee received these special honors, respectively.
The Calcutta Medical College’s Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics was recognized for strengthening the connection between medical support systems and natural birth processes.
Notable figures such as Dr. Debashish Bhattacharya and Dr. Kousik Lahiri were also honored.
Additionally honored were the physicians who have quietly devoted their lives to the medical field. They are Dolly Biswas, a nurse, Dr. Tapas Kumar Das, and Dr. Samarendranath Roy.
TV9 Bangla acknowledged people who used movies to raise public awareness of health and wellness, in addition to medical professionals. Actor Kaushik Ghosh and filmmaker Kamaleshwar Mukherjee received recognition for their influential contributions to healthcare awareness and narrative.
In addition to them, there were performances by medical professionals that will be seen to provide some entertainment value. TV9 Bangla will broadcast the Suswasthya Awards & Conclave on Sunday, July 13, starting at 11:30 a.m.
