The West Bengal Film Journalists’ Association Award (WBFJA) 2023 named Cinemar Samabartan was organized at the desolate & closed Gem Cinema.

There were 18 award categories in the popular segment, 8 award categories in the Technical Award segment, and the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award, which was conferred to MrDhritiman Chatterjee for the year 2023.

The theme of the award ceremony was “Where There Is No Imagination There Is No Horror” to stimulate the imagination and create new perspectives.

Keeping in line with the theme of the award ceremony, a black carpet was organized at the event.
