Wonderful Response To Contest For Students By Bobby Chakraborty
It is crucial to instill in a child the correct values and understanding of the dangers of all forms of addiction as early as possible. Even more crucially, this awareness needs to be regularly fostered as the child grows older.
Bobby Chakraborty is an actor, activist, and method-acting teacher from Kolkata, India. For more than ten years, he has used his widely recognized, no-cost awareness program for youth called “I AM THE KING OF MY MIND” to raise awareness against harmful social trends and all forms of addiction.
To extend that consciousness outside his sessions, he held a competition for participants in three areas: 1) writing abilities; 2) artistic abilities; and 3) speaking/visual abilities.
Following a highly successful Anti Addiction Campaign (AAC) no. 419 at Vidyasagar Shishu Niketan-Midnapore, he has received very positive feedback from both the parents and the students, whom he considers his troops. Additionally, he was inundated with entries for the AAC 419 contest.
The 1st place went to Aniruddha Bhunia of Class 8 –8-Gamma, the 2nd place went to Torsa Murmu of Class 9-Beta, and the 3rd place went to Arkadip Barman of Class 8-Delta.
The winners received special HCF t-shirts and Community Service Certificates by Bobby in association with the socially responsible Principal Chanda Majumder.
