On the occasion of Doctor’s Day, Woodlands Hospital offered doctors a complimentary heart check-up package from 1^st to 14^th of July to detect any heart issues early. This free cardiac check-up at Woodlands will be extended to all MBBS doctors. It will consist of tests like CBC, Blood Sugar (F), Serum Creatinine, Uric Acid, Lipid Profile, ECG, and others.

This initiative was announced in the presence of Dr. Rupali Basu, Managing Director & CEO, Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital, Dr. Malati Purkait, COO, Dr. Soumitro Bhattacharya, Consultant Radiology and Chief of Radio Diagnosis, Dr. Soutik Panda, Consultant, Critical care, Woodlands, Dr, Prasun Mitra, Chief of Non-Invasive Cardiology and others.

Due to their hectic schedules, doctors hardly have the time to take care of their health. With this initiative, Woodlands Hospital is stressing the fact that they should be regularly checked. This is more so for doctors who are over 40 years and have an incidence of heart disease in their family.

The health check-up is available at Woodlands Multispecialty Hospital at 8/1, Alipore Road, from 9 am onwards.
