Yami Gautam Looked Beautiful As Showstopper For Blooms Of Paradise
A celebration of their intrepid muse, iconic designers Shyamal & Bhumika showcased their SS23 collection, Blooms of Paradise. A poetic fusion of craft and design was formed on the ramp by a line of passionate needlework.
It was a brand of uncommon hand-made embroideries that were woven with devotion and fantasy. The collection was a poetic fusion of workmanship and design on the ramp, which was inspired by India’s rich culture and heritage.
The designer partnership has always preferred traditional techniques, which they have adapted to their new collections. They did this by adding attractive forms in a fantastic color combination.
They subsequently drew inspiration from the grandeur and splendor of royal courts, museums, and both public and private collections, until coming to a finish with antique marketplaces. Buyers were given a lovely fashion story to follow during the joyous celebrations thanks to a presentation that was heavily dosed with fantasy and festive air.
The finest materials were used for the embellishments, which included handcrafted embroidery, metallic threads with an antique finish, pearls, beads, and multicolored resham. Beadwork, silk thread, and crystals were combined with resham aari, silk-zardozi, metal thread peeta, knotting, and sequins techniques.
Sustainable, handwoven raw silk, Matka silk, sheer silk organza, tulle, and opulent hand-dyed velvet were among the fabrics that sparkled on the show.
The designers dipped their brushes into a vibrant kaleidoscope of hues. English rose pink, muted ivory, deep powder blue, emerald, dusty mint, orchid, pearl, cannoli-cream, olive, sage, sky, lunar grey, and midnight blue made up the color scheme.
Womenswear consisted of new-age shararas, draped skirts with jackets, shift kurtas, capes over jumpsuits, and lehengas with jackets.
Menswear included heavily embroidered cropped kurtas with circular hemlines, along with jackets, double-breasted bundies, and draped styles.
When Yami Gautam glided down the runway in a pastel, paneled, flared lehenga that was lavishly embroidered with floral motifs and paired with a sparkling, laced choli, she brought the spectacular show to a classy finish. The ethereal appearance of this stunning bridal wear item was enhanced by the delicate, tulle dupatta with a sparkly edge.
This season, Shyamal and Bhumika focused on color, silhouettes, and a dizzying array of crafts that would enthrall fashion enthusiasts during the festivities.
