“Young Blood Coming In The Bengali Film Industry Is A Positive Sign”- Prosenjit Chatterjee
The music launch of “Kolkatar Harry” took place in the presence of director Rajdeep Ghosh, Soham Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet Ganguli, Usha Uthup, Nikhita Gandhi, Rupankar Bagchi, Rohit Soumya, and others.
There are five songs in the film. The songs have been sung by Soham Chakraborty, Jeet Gannguli, Usha Uthup, Rupankar Bagchi, and Nikhita Gandhi.
Nikhita Gandhi was super excited and happy to have worked on an album with such amazing artists like Usha Uthup, Rupankar, and Jeet Gannguli.
The lyrics of the songs have been penned down by Rohit Soumya.
The music has been composed by Jeet Gannguli. Jeet Gannguli said “I never thought that the music launch of my film will happen at such an amazing place. It will be a memorable experience for me. I want to thank Soham for thinking about children and making a film for them. He was a child actor once and hence he understood the sentiment of children well”.
The cast of the film consists of Prosenjit Chatterjee, Soham Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Oishika Guhatakurata, Laboni Sarkar, Arindam Ganguly, Raj Chakraborty, Sudipa Basu, and Basanti Chatterjee.
The story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Rohit- Soumya.
Priyanka Sarkar said “We are often not aware of such amazing places in Kolkata. To launch the music in front of the Eiffel Tower in Eco Park is a great experience. And added to that is the presence of eminent personalities like Prosenjit Chatterjee, Usha Uthup, Rupankar, Nikhita Gandhi, and Jeet Gannguli. It is magical just like our film”.
Director Rajdeep Ghosh is an ardent fan of Usha Uthup. To have her sing a song in his film is like a dream come true for him.
Prosenjit Chatterjee was full of praises for Soham and his effort to produce a children’s film. “I was not going out during the pandemic for shooting. Soham is the only one who calls me Mamu (uncle). So when he requested me to come out of my home and shoot, I reluctantly went for the shooting. I had a great time shooting for the film” said the actor.
The film is releasing on 6th May.
The film is produced by Soham’s Entertainment and presented by Soham Chakraborty & Indira Chowdhury.
