Get Set Learn, a future-skills-focused learning start-up supported by the Arvind Mafatlal Group, announces the introduction of the Young Pioneers Programme at the Future Ready Conclave, Kolkata, the biggest skills-focused educators’ conference ever hosted in the city. The goal of Get Set Learn and Cambridge University Press & Assessment’s complete three-year immersion learning program, Young Pioneers, is to foster in young students an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Future Ready Conclave, billed as India’s top STEM and future-skills event, gathered together academics, educators, and school administrators to discuss cutting-edge teaching methods. The conclave focused heavily on incorporating robotics, artificial intelligence, design thinking, and entrepreneurship into contemporary curricula in order to equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and tactics they need to educate children for a world that is changing quickly. One of the main highlights of the conclave was the introduction of the Young Pioneers Programme.

A premier initiative for entrepreneurship education, the Kolkata Chapter of Young Pioneers Programme was created to encourage students’ creativity, curiosity, and practical problem-solving while smoothly supplementing current school curricula with immersive, future-ready learning opportunities.

The launch was attended by Mr John Bagul, Principal Director IEM Public Schools, Ms Keya Sinha, Academic Director National Gems Higher Secondary School, Ms Priyanka Mukherjee – Academic Head, Narayana GROUP of Schools, West Bengal, Ms Meghna Ghosal, Principal, Aditya Academy Senior Secondary School, Ms Sankhasubha Roy, Principal, AG Church High School, Mr Pratik Ghosh Dastidar, President, Sales, Get Set Learn, Get Set Learn, Ms. Shubhra Rishi, President – Marketing & Head of Impact Initiatives, Get Set Learn & Mr. Sumit Majumdar, SVP – Product & Academics, Get Set Learn.

To better prepare students for difficulties in the future, the panel as a whole emphasized the significance of integrating entrepreneurship education within educational frameworks.

In addition to expert-led masterclasses, teacher training, intra-school and inter-school jury rounds, phased mentorship, and a final Launchpad that turns student ideas into workable solutions, the program provides end-to-end assistance. The program is offered throughout a three-year learning journey using a systematic three-tier progression: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. The SMART model, SWOT analysis, business planning principles, and other core tools necessary for cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset will be introduced to students as part of the curriculum.

In addition to highlighting the expanding significance of skill-based, experiential education, the Young Pioneers Programme–Kolkata Chapter launch at the Future Ready Conclave also showed how strategic partnerships are forming future-ready classrooms throughout India.
