Zee Bangla’s Rannaghar completed 13 years of its journey recently. A press meet was organized to celebrate this feat in the presence of versatile actress Aparajita Adhya who is also the host of this show.

Aparajita Adhya looked beautiful in a pink sari that she wore for the occasion. Speaking about her association, she said “The crew of the show have remained the same since inception. It is not that the director or the crew have undergone change with every season. The same team have been organizing the show. The director is so knowledgeable about different cuisine that many of us have asked him to open a restaurant”.

The set have been decorated with balloons and flowers to give the audience the feel of a birthday.

Aparajita Adhya while hosting the show has learnt different tricks about cooking. Some of them include cutting garlic easily and quickly, the difference in taste when you use a certain spice at the beginning of a dish or at the end of a dish and so on.

The birthday celebrations will take place over a span of two weeks and special dishes will be made by reputed chefs.

The special episode will be aired on 18^th May.
