2nd Edition Of The International Kolkata Short Film Festival Announced

Eventizer announced The International Kolkata Short Film Festival, IKSFF 2022. The 2nd edition of the short film festival will begin on 5th March 2022.

A press conference was organized to announce this short film festival. Gracing the occasion was Jaya Seal Ghosh, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, and others.

Organized by Eventizer in association with technical partners Prismhub Online Solutions Pvt. Ltd., IKSFF has received an overwhelming worldwide response with more than 190+ submissions from 26 countries. They have successfully formed an association with the Global film submission portal Film Freeway.

The festival will be flagged off with an online screening on the web portal www.eventizer.co.in from 5th March 2022 to 12th March 2022. The week-long festival will screen a total of 100+ short films from India and abroad.

The online event will be a paid event. The audiences can watch all the selected films at their own time from the comforts of their home.

To book the ticket go to www.eventizer.co.in and click the menu option “All Events” and book your ticket. After successful completion of the booking process, you will receive a password through email which you can use to watch the film.

To watch the film go to www.eventizer.co.in and click the menu option “IKSFF”. Hover over the specific day and click “Show Movie”. Enter the password and enjoy the film.

The festival will conclude with a physical screening followed by an award ceremony on 13th March 2022 at Rotary Sadan, Kolkata. The physical screening of selected films will be from 1 pm to 5:30 pm and the award ceremony from 6 pm to 9 pm.

The award ceremony will commence with the opening film – “HOME” a debut film of Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee and close with the film – “The Phantom Of the Cinema” from France. The ceremony will also screen the film “SOCH” directed by Indira Dhar Mukherjee and music by Pandit Bikram Ghosh.

Valmir Tertini, writer and film director from Albania, Pradipta Bhattacharyya, Mohan Das, Pandit Mallar Ghosh, Soumitra Dastidar, Sandipan Roy, Sagnik Chatterjee will be the jury for the short film festival.

A total of 15 awards will be awarded to the winning participants in the ceremony along with the prestigious Late Jiban Guha Memorial Award.
