The press meet to announce Aakash Aath’s new mega serial, ‘Dipabalir Satkahan’ was organized recently. The story is based on renowned Bengali author Samaresh Majumdar’s bestselling novel ‘Satkahan’. The lead starcast of the serial consisting of debutante Soumi Chatterjee, Bodhisatwa Mazumdar, Tulika Basu, Lopamudra Sinha along with Samaresh Majumdar, Susanta Basu, director of the serial, Ashok Surana, producer of Dipabalir Saatkahan and Eshita Surana, Director of Aakash Aath were also present for the occasion.

‘Dipabalir Satkahan’ is a story about Dipabali and her struggle against all the odds of the society. Set in the picturesque North Bengal, it shows the then political turbulence and the socio-economic structure of the period and the fight for survival of a young lady like Dipabali.

The screenplay is by Sayan Chowdhury and Sanchari Das.

Dipabalir Satkahan began airing from 3rd December, 2018 and will be shown every Monday to Saturday from 7 pm on Aakash Aath.
