Mukhosh directed by Birsa Dasgupta released after the halls have been opened. The film has generated a lot of curiosity among the audiences since its announcement.

The premiere of this Bengali film took place recently in the presence of the cast and crew.

The film is an official remake of the Malayalam film Anjaan Pathiraa that released in 2020.

The story of the film is about a criminologist who tries to understand whether a murderer is more dangerous than a mentally stable individual. The film attempts to take a peek into the minds of seasoned criminals.

Anirban Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Chandreyee Ghosh, Payel Dey, and others will be seen in pivotal roles in this film.

Chandreyee Ghosh will be working with the director for a second time and she will be seen in the role of an IAS officer Kaberi Bose. Her mission is to find out the murderer.

The background music of the film has been composed by Nabarun Bose.
