In order to relieve the symptoms and stress brought on by a severe illness like cancer, a trained team of doctors, nurses, psychiatrists, and other medical staff members administer specialized medical care known as “Palliative Care.” Patients with advanced disease and a short life expectancy are frequently given palliative care because it provides them with much-needed relief.

The interactive session and day-long event, which began with a walkathon in the morning, guided viewers through clinically relevant subjects like the value of palliative care for cancer patients and the long-term effects of the disease on survivors’ and caregivers’ mental health. Cancer survivors and their family members discussed their personal experiences, focusing on various strategies that helped them remain positive despite the already stressful and challenging encounters of accepting cancer treatment and caring for cancer patients, as well as information, resources, and their experiences with the audience during the Q&A session with the panel.
