Priya Cinema opened its doors for the cine-lovers of Kolkata yet again. After the setback that happened six months ago, the owners inaugurated the cinema on the auspicious occasion of International Mother Language Day.

Present at the occasion addressing the media was Prosenjit Chatterjee, Arijit Dutta, June Malia, Arindam Sil, Saswata Chatterjee and Gautam Ghosh.

Speaking at the event, Prosenjit Chatterjee said “Priya Cinema brings back so many memories. My son saw a poster of my film Moner Manush and people’s queue to get the tickets. This was his earlier memory of his father as an actor. The re-opening of the hall is like a huge boon for the cinema lovers”.

Saswata Chatterjee recalled about a wooden chair which used to make a lot of noise whenever a person used to sit or stand off the chair.

June Malia meanwhile mentioned how she had come to watch movies on numerous occasions alone or with friends and family.

The new upgraded cinema hall has upgraded fire systems, the sound system is state-of-the-art, new recliner seats and much more leg space will make your cinema viewing experience to a whole new level.

The ticket prices however remain unchanged.

With the re-opening of the new and upgraded Priya Cinema, cinema viewing will be top notch for sure!!
