Abbar Kanchenjungha’s New Release Date Announced
Raajhorshee De’s upcoming film “Abbar Kanchenjungha” is releasing on 1st April 2022. The film was earlier slated to release on 11th February 2022.
This film is a direct tribute to Satyajit Ray. “Abar Kanchanjhungha” is a celebration of life. It’s a complete family film celebrating nostalgia, Bangaleeana, Christmas, Darjeeling, and Kanchanjhungha.
The story revolves around the eldest Son of Advocate Nishith Deb, Tridib, as he calls upon brothers Sudeb, Debesh, Rohit along with sister Semonti, to their ancestral home “ABHILASH” in Darjeeling for a mega reunion. This is a trip that happens after twenty years. This once was customary during Christmas when Nishith Deb was alive. What happens during the reunion?

The cast consists of Kaushik Sen, Saswata Chatterjee, Deboshree Ganguly, Arpita Chatterjee, Tnusree Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Padmanabha Dasgupta, Rupankar Bagchi, Richa Sharma, Bidipta Chakraborty, Priyanka Rati Pal, Devlina Kumar, Sohini Guha Roy, Ashim Roychoudhury, Ranieeta Das and Anindya Chatterjee.
