OWNDAYS opened their third store in India at South City Mall, Kolkata. The other two stores are at Palladium Mall, Chennai and Sarath City Capital Mall, Hyderabad.

The Kolkata store was inaugurated by Takeshi Umiyama, COO of OWNDAYS, Tatsuya Koga, Head of Overseas Business Development and dancer-actress Sreenanda Shankar.

The optical chain’s main highlight is its quick twenty minute processing time, 1500 styles and affordable pricing. The optical chain entered the Indian market in partnership with GKB Opticals.

Speaking at the event, Sreenanda Shankar said “I don’t have power and so I don’t need spectacles. However my mother needs them and so I will surely bring her here. I saw the huge range of sunglasses and they are just awesome”.

The actress browsed through the collection and even tried on a few of them.

The store is spread across an area of 2100 square feet.

The price ranges from Rs 2990 to Rs 10990.
