Amazing Range Of Goods At India International Grand Trade Fair
The 11-day India International Grand Trade Fair was inaugurated by Professor Saugata Roy, His Excellency Andalib Elias, Keka Sarma, N. G. Khaitan, Shamsul Arif, and other eminent dignitaries.
The Bharat Chamber of Commerce organizes the event.
The main objective of organizing this trade fair is to provide a platform to industries, agencies of trade and commerce, and MSMEs.
Bangladesh is the partner country of the trade fair. The presenting partner is the Life Insurance Corporation of India and the supporting partner is the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
The trade fair will see participation from ten countries namely Bangladesh, Egypt, Dubai, Turkey, Iran, Thailand, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Tunisia, and Malaysia.
It will also see participants from more than 20 states of India.
Industrial machinery, textiles and readymade garments, leather and jute products, health and well-being products, processed food, dry fruits, and dairy products, consumer electronics and home appliances, fashion jewelry and artificial stones, and furniture and interior décor products will be on display at the trade fair.
This fair is among the largest trade fairs in eastern India.
Around 25000 footfalls daily are expected at this trade fair.
The trade fair will continue till 11th December at City Square Ground, Newtown, Kolkata.
